Jazz Dance - Things We Do |

Out of dedication to the heritage and growth of jazz
dance, Dancin' Unlimited's vision extends outwards, to
give our audiences the opportunity to experience America's
indigenous dance form. We do this by: |

Presenting:
We choreograph and perform four or more new concert and Broadway
style jazz dances each year at the annual Jazz & Tap Dance
Festival, at local community events, and many other public
and private venues. |

Producing:
Every year we proudly produce the Jazz & Tap Dance
Festival that combines the talents of six to eight
area jazz, tap, and hip-hop dance companies. This
will be the
25th
annual Festival. |

|
Promoting:
Through this Internet website and promotional
materials distributed to schools, colleges, dance studios,
and community events, we promote an awareness
of our jazz dance heritage. |
|
|
Educating:
At least once a year, we engage world renowned jazz
dance master teachers and choreographers, and
provide jazz dance master classes to dance students
at area studios. |
|
|
Demonstrating:
As part of the Creative Arts in Public Schools
(CAPS) and other school programs that promote the
arts, we showcase and demonstrate jazz dance to area school students
of all ages. |

Why does Dancin' Unlimited need my donation?
Dancin' Unlimited is a tax-exempt non-profit
organization, qualified under Section 501 (c) 3 of the
Internal Revenue Code, that is committed to community
enrichment through jazz dance. (Information on our
organizational status may be found at
www.GuideStar.com.) Those involved in this
mission are fully dedicated to its cause. Our dancers
and artistic director receive modest honorariums for their
generous and amazing talents. This helps them to
continue their artistic work while we still maintain our
high standards of artistic achievement. We have no paid
administrative staff. Every dollar we receive continues
to fund our investment in the community of jazz dance.

Where does my contribution go?
Dancin' Unlimited's mission is five-fold: Jazz dance
presentation, production, promotion, education, and
demonstration. Depending on how you define your
contribution, your donation can help fund any of our
programs within one of these paths or it can support all
of the on-going work of the dance company. Our regular

What are our other sources of revenue?
Dancin' Unlimited receives funding through grants,
individual contributions, corporate donations, and
performances at privately
contracted events.
We

bring you all of the wonderful dance performances as
well as to support our rehearsals, classes, workshops, and
educational programs that we provide year after year in
our community.
